Graffiti vs Logo

Hi there,
When it comes to logos and Graffiti, there are as much similarities as there are differences.  They are compared and contrasted as they are threaded through the fabric of current art.

Let's elaborate :)

well.....
Graffiti is considered a drawing that is scribbled or sprayed ILLICITLY on a surface in a public place.  The main materials used for graffiti would be paint (typically spray paint) and marker pens.  Most people would consider graffiti as vandalism.  Through this unique and abstract form of art there are usually underlying social or political messages within it.

As for the Logos.....
A logo is defined as a design that is adopted by a commercial enterprise to identify it's product.  Today a logo is often with trademark or brand.  They are considered very modern and mainstream, for example, social media logos are incorporated with blue.  Logos are very organized and distributed throughly throughout the public.  Logos can be found on clothing, billboards, and buildings

Let's compare....
Both forms of Art are either writings or drawings.  They each have a purpose, whether its conveying a message or branding a company.  Each contain the personality of the artist.

Okay.... bye ;)
